Ayurvedic Medicine Certification Split Day Programming, Saturday Clinical’s Option

This course covers an in depth review of anatomy, physiology and pathology from an Ayurvedic perspective, preliminary treatment modalities, medical nutrition, introduction to yoga therapy practices, Ayurvedic Herbology and Meditation. This well rounded course introduces students to the classical texts of Ayurveda, The medical use of Sanskrit and treatment modalities including Jotisha and Vastu. An Ayurvedic Practitioner Level 1 Certification (AHC). Alliance educators include Chopra Center and Ayurvedic Institute Educators, Mas Vidal, Dennis Harness Ph.D, Brendan Feely and more. This program adheres to the NAMA (National Ayurvedic Medical Association Guidelines for Certification).
This Certification provides the individual with the education and skills needed to provide professional Ayurvedic medicine knowledge and the power of healing touch therapies.
Sedona Wellness Institute and SWAMMI.org is licensed by the Arizona State Board for Private Post-Secondary Education (pending), is an approved provider with the National Certification Board for Massage and Bodywork NCBTMB, a member of NAMA, The Ayurvedic Institute and is a member of the American Massage Therapy Association. Sedona Wellness Institute and SWAMMI graduates are not required to pass a licensing exam for Arizona licensure. Sedona Wellness Institute and SWAMMI graduates are prepared and eligible to sit for licensing exams, such as the NCETM, the NCETMB, or the MBLEx, if they plan to practice in other areas where such examinations are required.
Sedona Wellness Institute is a participant in the National Ayurvedic Medical Association AHC Beta Testing for future Board Certified Ayurvedic Professionals, as per the scheduled April 2017 Launch by the certifying body of NAMA Professionals.
