Andria Pizzato was awarded a Doctorate in Nursing Practice in 2016 from the University of Arizona after becoming a board certified Family Nurse Practitioner through the American Acadamy of Nurse Practitioners in 2015. She is currently a Fellow in Dr Weil’s Integrative Medicine Program at the Arizona Center for Integrative Medicine in Tucson, Az.
Dr. Pizzato views the mind-body-spirit connection as integral to health and healing and collaborates with her patients to empower them to create balance in their lives. Her treatment employs a holistic approach, drawing from conventional and integrative modalities to guide her patients to optimal health and wellness. Her knowledge blends from conventional practices to evidence-based complementary therapies, holistic medicine, nutrition, and mind-body modalities. Nutritional counseling is of particular interest to Dr Pizzato who views “food as medicine”. She has also studied multiple forms of yoga practice, meditation techniques and energy medicine during her personal healing journey and enjoys exploring methods of stress reduction with her patients.
